SCM Labs Exhibits at ACDM 2001 Conference

SCM Labs presented and exhibited at the Association of Configuration and Data Management (ACDM) conference in San Diego, California on March 26 through 28. Over 75 participants were in attendance, representing commercial and government entities involved in change management.

CEO Scott Lehman spoke on "The Discipline of SCM." Lance Johnston, VP of Software Development, and Steve Konieczka, President and COO, collaborated with Scott in the exhibit booth describing our services and demonstrating JCMS, SCM Labs' new software configuration tool scheduled for release later this year. SCM Labs' presentation and services were well received by those in attendance.

Conference participants agreed it's time to put a spotlight on the value of software configuration management and eliminate misperceptions about the role of SCM in software development. The principles of SCM are as applicable in change management and data management as they are in software development efforts. With that in mind, SCM Labs will be taking a more active role in ACDM, and the company eagerly looks forward to the 2002 Conference.

ACDM as an organization enhances the awareness of software configuration management and the value of SCM in the IT industry. The ACDM mission is to be the premier professional organization that shares and refines the disciplines that accomplish CM (configuration management) and DM (data management) necessary for the delivery and support of products and services in a competitive and regulated business environment.
