The evaluation copy of Quartet is fully functional with the following limiting factors:

• Checking in over 40 files in this evaluation will cause performance to degrade due to the setup of the database for the evaluation copy. This is not indicative of Quartet's performance in actual use.
• There is no command-line interface.
• Attachments cannot be saved.
• The database is imbedded within the software, and not recommended for production purposes. Thus, any data stored within this evaluation software cannot be migrated to another environment; and any data stored will be permanently deleted upon uninstallation. This also means you are limited to run in a standalone mode of operation (as opposed to a client/server or distributed mode).
• There is no SCC API.
• Notifications cannot be established and/or configured.
• GUI settings will not be saved from session to session for each user (unless a 'quartet_eval' folder exists in the user's home).

Of course, all of these items are available in the full-blown version of Quartet.
