She has also researched and written technical documentation, instructional materials, speeches, press releases, and PR materials, as well as a humor column that ran in two newspapers for four years. A graduate of Montgomery College in Maryland with a major in Advertising Design, she also holds a BS in Management of Information Systems from the University of Maryland. Barbara is a member of the Colorado Authors League, eMarketing Association, and Toastmasters International.
